Which is better as the main characters? 2 boys or 2 girls? would you care?

-I'm asking one more time because I forgot to mention that I dont want "1 boy 1 girl" to be an option. It COULD. I'm thinking about it! but they wouldnt fall in love. The story is meant to be funny, not romantic!



So if you could choose between 2 boys, 2 girls, (or 1 boy 1 girl if you seriously want but they would just be friends) then which would you choose?



Remember: this is a comedy.





P.S: If it was a story about 2 girls then it WOULDNT be girly! Trust me, I dont like girly things either. They wouldnt talk about boys and periods and makeup and stuff because its a story for everyone of all genders.I would like either. It's really not about what gender the character is, it is more about how "rich" the character is.I don't mean like money rich but how complex and interesting the character is that is what I would call a rich character. Really you could have an amazing and amusing plot but if you have dry characters it would just fall flat.



I guess i would probably prefer 1 girl and 1 guy just because it makes it more interesting.

I think it all depends on the type of humor. I mean, usually guy humor and girl humor is completely different. So is geek humor and, well, any kind of humor.



Girls tend to be more... snarky. That can be funny, especially if it's clever. Girls also like random humor.



Boys? They're kinda stupid humor. "Your mom" kind of humor. Quick quips and physical antics.



I guess if I had to pick... it would be two guys.



But all kinds of humor, if well timed, is funny.
Then if YOU don't want the story line to be as you say "girly" than just use guys. They can do many stupid things which are hilarious just as girls can.
