-After many steps in the cool air of the woods, Libra began to feel hot flashes and noticed that her dark skin was more rouge than it normally was. She stopped and placed her left hand on her right arm. Warm and getting warmer. As she examined her slender body in the starlight, the growing shock almost caused her to faint. Libra's skin tone had gone from sun-kissed tan in tan hides to a pale magenta color that made her look alien and beautiful. Feeling lightheaded and concerned for her physical appearance, Libra fell to her knees on a thick bed of white wild flowers that were common in the woodland grounds and brought her joy in the daytime. Libra was always found wearing the soft pedals like a headdress in her long, silky black hair.
It became hard to focus on the dark spaces where the stars poked through the leaves, the stars that would guide her home. Sweat trickled down her body, tickling her nose as it slipped from the tip and fell to the white pedals below. It felt like the woods had caught fire and her skin was choking in the heat. In her disoriented state, Libra stripped off all of her hide garments and got down on all fours like a wolf with it's fur standing on end. From somewhere she didn't know, there came a shrill in her ears like that of a thousand sets of teeth, grinding against eachother in a feral madness. Entranced, the noises of the hunting nocturnal, an orchastra of insects, and the fuzzy dance of the stars above put Libra in a wild consciousness.
Now on all fours, her back arched and florecent, an avalanche of sharp quills seemed to be stabbing through Libra's every pore, causing her chestnut eyes to roll back in the torture. Small spots of red started to appeared all over her skin and they leaked thin trails of blood. Libra's heart beat thunderously but in her mind, only the blackness of pain. She let out a half-human scream, bearing crooked, spiky teeth that were poking out of her extended jaw. The muscles beneath her bleeding skin seared with severe heat and her insides bubbled and swelled as if starving snakes burrowed through her and grew as they fed on organs and bones which cracked and popped like falling timber as they formed her new figure. Libra's feet and hands hardened under the massive accumulation of weight and cone-shaped black talons emerged from her paws.
In an irregular, gruesome tempo, patches of shiny, copper-colored fur came spitting from Libra's spotted skin, leaving behind misty clouds of blood. A long, blood-glazed coat started to form out of her large chest, then from her large arms and legs, her torso, and it reached her elongated face where the jabs from the bristles on Libra's snout made a small cloud of blood that flung into her darkened eyes.
As the last of her silky black locks fell from her skull, she regained her consciousness and, consumed by rage, roared with the last of her might. It echoed through the black sway of the trees and on the wild wind. The moon was eclipsed by the scatter of birds and sorrow filled the silence when the echo and animals had gone. Every slumbering creature for miles awoke and felt her cry. They did not know the beast. Perhaps a mourning mother who had found her kin to be dead, they supposed. Whimpering in short, broken huffs on her side until she slept strewn over the blood smeared wildflowers; Libra, the native beauty, who is cursed in the form a monsterous bear, was lost.Hi!
