What do you think of this character?

-Filbert Blackwater-was the head and elder of the Adamite Church. He was very charismatic and chivalrous, devilishly handsome and fond of dressing in formal attires, academical dresses, fanciable bow ties, decorative waistcoats etc. etc. He enjoys dressing himself up in somewhat foppish styles, reciting himself 'Clothes make the Man'. Filbert, or Fill, both had a fetish fascination and an utter distaste for women; he lusts and drools at the sight of a woman in long dresses, with long hair and innocent eyes and with the personality of a childlike, virginal, docile bimbette. And strongly abhors the sight of a freethinking, individualistic woman. And he also has a strong desirous infatuation with male bonding.

As a young boy, Fill's father was a virtuous hardworking man who made a living by preaching and growing apple trees, but his mother was a free-spirited, somewhat ditsy liberal activist with a shrewd, smart-alecky mind. He had sisters who were not like their mother, they were beautiful, graceful, petite, homely with flat breasts and fainting problems. While his mother tried to teach him about sexuality, other religions, art with nudity and drugs, his father would teach him the bible, Knights, Crusades, Expeditions and the Reformation.

Fill was fascinated by both of his teachings; he admired the physique of the male Greek/Roman statues and the greatness of the Christian warriors. But when his mother took him one night to see a mother rabbit give birth (after reading a story about Women eating their children) he saw the mother rabbit giving birth to a litter, then she ate the babies. This horrified Fill deeply and the mere sight of his mother's red lips was enough to make him ran out of the house and into the highway with his mother chasing after him where she was hit by a car and died. So, Fill's sisters took care of him and he loved them more than his mother. After his mother's funeral, he met an elderly veteran who was so fat, wrinkled and serious-looking, he said to him about the valor of manhood and the love of male companionship. Fill mistook this for great advice but it was actually the babbling words of a drunken pederast.Very well developed.how do you have a fetish fascination AND an utter distaste for women? this description contradicts itself. also why would the sisters be described as beautiful while also being called homely and flat breasted. i mean the story was not THAT bad but the end made think to myself wtf.|||It's a good character, but how you wrote the first paragraph was a little confusing. No offense, but it might help if you toned down the adjectives and maybe changed some of your run-on sentences into shorter more direct sentences. Hope that helps! =)|||Wow.

I love him. Everything from his name to his back story. That is a really creative character right there. He is so imperfect, he is amazing. Definitely doesn't suffer from Edward Cullen Syndrome. I'd love to read any story he is in. Is he your protagonist or what?|||It's a somewhat awkward character but if it fits in with your novel I guess it's fine.
