Is the percy jackson series a good series?

-Okay my friend finds the book percy jackson series is a bad series because theres greek mythology in it and when she hasntr even read it. Please help me explain to her that its a good book. I tried to get her to read it but she said 'No greek mytholoy is boring' but the percy jackson books are acully really goodBefore I read Percy Jackson, anything with the word 'god' in it, I'd run away! I read Percy Jackson after I watched the movie and I cringed like crazy when I saw the word 'God' on a page but now - I LOVE THE GODS!



Tell your friend you cant tell there is Greek Mythology in the books, you never know you are reading about it until you finish the books and you know all the gods and facts and stuff. You should tell her about all the good things in the books and how funny they are, like when Percy is tricked into drinking potion that turns him into a guinea-pig or how scary it is when Percy burns himself so much he makes everything explode around him and nearly kills himself. Really your friend is missing out but if she wont listen to you, then it's her loss
I thought the same thing. But it's NOTHING like a Greek Mythology textbook. It's all about action and adventure, and it's actually pretty funny at times. It has betrayal, backstabbing, and amazing plot lines that really keep you hooked.
Well i dislike it because it a bad knock off of Harry potter AND I LOVE harry potter Rick rordien would have never been able to write percy jackson without harry potter as its guide in my opinon it sucks bad
They're a fine series if you're not a hardcore Greek mythology or Harry Potter fan and thus loathe the twisted abomination Riordan created by combining the two.
