How Many Books are in the Series?

-So i'm a HUGE fan of the Vampire Academy series and own all of the books. I can't wait for Bloodlines to come out (7/23/11) and I was wondering how many books there are going to be in the Bloodlines series. Oh and for those of you who don't know what bloodlines is, it's the spin off of VA. Thanks :DThere's a 6 book contract for the Bloodlines series so we can expect at least that many! Also, hope you're looking forward to the Vampire Academy movies which are going to hit theaters either late 2012 or early 2013...they were suppose to been made but I bet they're just waiting for the Twilight frenzy to end....
I don't think Richelle Mead has decided on that yet. It pretty much relies on how long the books are and what the story line holds in Bloodlines. You probably just have to wait and see!
