-I'd be interested in your comments. My account was deactivated because I was using an alias. A fellow group-member topped me. Nice man! My argument is this. I wasn't impersonating anybody. I wasn't trawling for 'friends' to pester. In fact I didn't have any friends at all. My only reason for having the account was to access medical groups, conditions that I suffer from. If FB had searched my records, they would have seen I was perfectly 'clean'. I've been stalked by somebody on the net previously and there's no way I'm going to let it happen again. I have only ever tried to help others on the internet, but under FB rules, I am a fraud. This is an EXTREMELY arguable question, much like the "Mac vs. Windows" question that is posed. However, I do personally think that you were within your rights as a user to post a false name; especially if you were not trying to pass off as someone else. Though, keep in mind that Facebook does take precautions for a reason to avoid potential issues in the long run.Yes... they are definitely ridiculous.
You're not supposed to use a fake name. It misleads people.
